Privacy policy

This policy explains how Kerala Escapes, operated by TMM Hospitality Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”), collects and uses your personal data when you use this website or contact us to plan a Kerala trip. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). If anything here is unclear, message us — we're happy to explain.

Who we are

What we collect

When you enquire or request an itinerary, we may collect:

• Your phone number (so we can send your itinerary and reply on WhatsApp/phone)
• Your name, if you give it
• Trip preferences you share — destinations, travel month, number of travellers, budget range, trip style
• Basic technical and advertising data — pages viewed, and the ad/campaign that brought you here, so we can measure our advertising

We practise data minimisation — we ask only for what we need to plan your trip and reply to you. We do not ask for your email or payment details to start a conversation, and we don't collect children's names (we use age bands like “kids under 5” only if relevant to your trip).

Why we collect it, and your consent

We use your data to send you the itinerary or information you asked for, to contact you on WhatsApp or phone about your Kerala trip, to quote live hotel rates, and to improve our service. We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit an enquiry or request a callback. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your rights” below). Withdrawing consent doesn't affect processing already carried out.

How we contact you (WhatsApp & phone)

Our main channel is WhatsApp. If you message us or ask for a callback, you agree to receive your itinerary and follow-up messages from us on WhatsApp or by phone. You can opt out any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or telling us to stop contacting you. We do not add you to bulk promotional lists without separate consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — for example website hosting, analytics, and the messaging/CRM tools we use to reply to you — and only as needed to provide our service. Where we use hotels or transport operators to fulfil your trip, we share only the details required to make your arrangements.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to plan and service your trip and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update it
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you
• Ask us to delete your personal data
• Raise a grievance about how we handle your data

Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-light analytics to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. This may set basic cookies or identifiers. We don't use them to build advertising profiles about you beyond measuring our own campaigns, and we don't put personal data in page URLs.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
